Projects Under Construction
Canvas Apartments
Canvas, located at 2301 California Street NE, will bring 160 affordable apartment homes and 23,000 SF of production space to the Bottineau neighborhood of Northeast Minneapolis. Canvas closed in early November 2022 and is currently under construction with a planned opening Spring 2024.
The Balsam on Broadway
The Balsam on Broadway, located at 540 Broadway Street, will bring 128 affordable apartment homes and approximately 5,200 SF of office space for our future headquarters to the Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood of St. Paul, adjacent to Downtown and Lowertown with amazing views of the skyline. The Balsam on Broadway closed in May 2023 and is currently under construction with a planned opening in Fall of 2024.
The Preserve at Mustang Creek
The Preserve at Mustang Creek, located at 1401 County Road 118, will bring 252 affordable apartment homes to the east side of Round Rock, TX, a northern suburb of Austin. The site is located within a rapidly growing area of the city and has excellent access and visibility off TX-130. The Preserve at Mustang Creek closed in August 2023 and is currently under construction, with a phased opening beginning in late 2024 and finishing in late summer/fall 2025.
Projects Under Development
Manning Avenue Apartments
LSBD’s newest project, a to-be-named apartment community located off Manning Avenue just south of I-94, will bring 237 affordable apartment homes to the northeast side of Woodbury, MN. The site is located next to Prairie Ridge Park and adjacent to an industrial job center including an Amazon facility. Having received city entitlement approvals, we are currently working on finalizing design & construction documents and working with our public and private financing partners to bring the project to life.
